Alexander Erman Unal
Alexander joined Spring Law as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2019 and works across the Disputes Avoidance, Disputes Resolution, Intelligence and Investigations services.
He graduated from the University of Kent in 2018 with a joint degree in Law and Economics (Upper Second Class Honours). He then completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2019.
Alexander supports fee earners in high-value commercial disputes in the Chancery Division and Queen’s Bench Division across all stages of litigation. He assists Partners with drafting and amending Court application documents, attending interim hearings and case management conferences, handling inter-parties correspondence, e-Discovery requests and conducting legal research.
His current experience encompasses a variety of sectors, including cases with an international element. In particular:
- Insolvency and cross-border investigations led by liquidators
- Complex civil fraud, including a £200m international Commercial Court claim involving over 20 defendants
- Corporate and commercial
- Employment (contentious and non-contentious)
Alexander is fluent in both French and Spanish.
