Tim began his legal career at Simmons & Simmons in
1995, qualifying into the corporate finance and M&A division before moving
internally to concentrate
on litigation, specifically corporate, commercial and finance litigation and
international arbitration.
Tim left Simmons & Simmons to join Denton Wilde Sapte, where he acted as a commercial litigator and arbitrator.
In 2000, Tim was appointed General Counsel of Sportsworld Media Group plc, a sports and entertainment rights acquisition and management company. Sportsworld made 18 UK and overseas acquisitions which
Tim oversaw.
He was also responsible for the Group's commercial contracts, both in the UK and abroad, and for protecting the Group's IP.
Tim founded Spring Law in 2002. He has been a solicitor since 1995 and is a Higher Rights qualified advocate.
