Joe began his legal career in the Corporate Department of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York. He was resident in Fried Frank's London office from 2004 to 2005. He then joined the Corporate Department of Morrison Cohen in New York. Joe returned to London in 2009.

Joe's practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He regularly represents both public and private companies in asset and business acquisitions and dispositions. He also represents private equity funds and hedge funds in connection with both fundraising and investments. In addition, he has substantial experience representing issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions and securities offerings. He also has a wide background in general corporate and commercial transactions.

Joe received his law degree from New York University in 1999 and is qualified in New York.
