Alice has a broad range of experience in all aspects of employment law, including contentious and non-contentious issues.
On the contentious side, Alice has experience in advising clients in respect of grievances and disciplinary investigations including FCA related issues. Alice also has experience of High Court and Employment Tribunal litigation including claims involving bonus disputes, breach of partnership and LLP agreements, whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal.
Alice’s non-contentious experience includes advising on and negotiating compromise agreements, drafting contractual documentation and reviewing and advising on employment contracts, including post-termination restrictions and long-term incentive plans.
Alice started at Ferguson Solicitors LLP on work experience in 1998 and then again in 2000 when she sat in on Ferguson Solicitors LLP’s most celebrated case, Clark -v- Nomura International Plc, before studying geography at Exeter University and then completing the GDL and LPC and the College of Law, London.
Throughout her time at Exeter and at the College of Law Alice worked as a paralegal at Ferguson during her spare time until she joined the firm full-time in July 2006 as its first trainee. Alice joined Spring Law in July 2015 as part of the merger with Ferguson Solicitors.
